We have our final set of games this weekend, so it's time to get pumped for the tournament. Please come by 8:30am in order to warm up and prepare for our first game at 9am. There will be foodstuffs and some water, but please be sure to bring your own supplies if you can.

This is the last weekend of League before we have our tournament. We need to get in gear this weekend to improve our seeding going into the tournament. Hopefully everyone will be able to make it out for some pure, unadulterated domination.

Yo Dragons,

So currently we are seeded 9th. This is not where we want to be going into the tournament. Moving up to the 5th or 6th seed would be perfect but we need some wins to do it. Don't let the cold weather scare you away. We need a good turnout this week and next to make a run for the championship!!!

This weekend is the most important weekend of your ultimate life. Why? Because we're going to have a +26 point differential at the end of the day. That's right, we're going 13-0, 13-0. BOOYAH. Oh, and we're giving some kids toys.

No, winter league is fun and (cold and) all, but these kids we're helping out are the real reason WL is such a success. Let's piss off those marines and make them lift toys for hours. Instead of buying a $20 toy, get two $10 ones. Spread the joy around. Remember to make sure they're unwrapped.

There will be a clinic from 9am-9:45am that will focus on some of the basic skills in ultimate. Please come out, especially if you're a new player.

To echo Jeff's email, welcome to HUC's 2009/2010 winter league! we've got a great team and Jeff and I are looking forward to this season full of plastic chasing and charity driving.

Please reply to this message to confirm you'll be at the games this Saturday. Right now i only know of Jeff and Meg that will be out.

We have two games, 1 at 10am and 1 at 11:30am. We play team 8 first (Sean and Katey's team), then team 6 (Dave Edwards' team). This will be a great first day of play.

Welcome to HUC's 2009-2010 season winter league! My name is Jeff Worne and I'll be captaining the team along with Mary Fuzat. I am a club player with Black Angus, and this is my 4th year captaining a winter league team. Mary is a nationals-caliber player with years of captaining experience. If this is your first time playing organized ultimate, you're in good hands.
