It is with sadness that I must announce HUC will not be running a winter league this season.

With the drought, this has been a difficult year for field availability, making a scarce resource even more scarce. We were able to find some fields, but they were so far from town that it made it too much trouble for many to make the trip. At the time of the deadline, there were only some ~80 people signed up, far below the 160 we needed. I want to thank those ~80 people and let everyone know that we are still planning some events for the next months.

We won't have a league, but we are working on a couple of hat tournaments in December and January. There will also be our yearly indoor tournament in Jan. or Feb. and then HFL in the middle of Feb. There will be several opportunities to play disc in the next months and that's not even including all the local pickup games and things being planned in nearby communities (like the hat tournament in The Woodlands on Dec 17 and a NASA area league starting in March).
