For those of you tired of getting repetitive emails from Tom Jackson about Winter League or are just curious to know what is going on, fear not. Here's a brief intro to our team and notes for this weekend:

Tom Jackson's email earlier today gave a good overview of what the schedule for the rest of the week looks like. What I'd like to emphasize for this week is the fact that of our 18 players, it looks like 8 will be unavailable this weekend! So, if we're lucky, we'll have 10 people actually showing up to play and 7 on the field at any given time; which means we need you there on time and ready to run. It sucks but it was done intentionally during the draft as it looks to be the only weekend we'll have anywhere close to this many people missing. Please do confirm your availability this weekend so that we know what the turnout will look like.

Typically this is the time when teams are supposed to come up with a kickin' team name but the theme of winter league is apparently still being decided on. If you miraculously have a suggestion, throw it out; otherwise we'll figure it out when there are better guidelines. Aside from that, this looks to be a fun winter league. Don't forget that you can collect your shirt and disc starting Thursday night and that there is a beginner's clinic Saturday before the game for anyone interested. We'll see you Saturday at 9:30.
