Hey Team 4,

My name is Mike Flum and I am one of the captains of our team. I am really excited to play some ultimate with you and I hope to be able to help each one of you with your game. I have never played winter league before, but I have been playing ultimate frisbee for 7.5 years in both New York and Houston. I am knowledgeable on most aspects of the game and I look forward to teaching all of you some new strategies and techniques to improve your skills. One thing I would like to stress is that there is no substitution for repetition in improving your throws. Since we are playing in a game-based league, I doubt there will be a ton of time to get reps with you throws. If you want to improve your core skills like throwing and catching, you must work on them outside of Saturday games. I am more than happy to help you with mechanics and suggest drills to work on specific aspects of the ultimate.
